Natalia: Surviving Chernobyl, Russians, God and Life
Natalia Teague (known to most as Natasha) formerly from Belarus in the USSR and I carry on a lively conversation. She is from Gomel, 70 miles from Chernobyl. She was there on April 26, 1986, when reactor number 4 blew up. She then continued to live for 15 more years in the area. She is currently the coordinator of Russian language publications at the United Church of God. We talk about the Chernobyl tragedy, as well as the challenges of preaching the Gospel in the Russian language and our faith. We have a lot in common and share those experiences.
