Rex Sexton: What Made King Alfred the Great GREAT? Its Meaning to Us

Rex Sexton and I talk about Alfred the Great was King from 871 to 899 and is the only English monarch ever given the title “the Great.” He ruled during one of the most dangerous periods in early English history, when Viking (Danish) armies were conquering much of Anglo-Saxon England.

Rex and I talk about lessons we could learn about us and our heritage from him.
